Year 8 - Music

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Yr 8 Music
In Music, students have the opportunity to learn the guitar and keyboard.
Students will learn music theory, they will investigate and analyse different types
of popular music as well as create music using digital technology.

 

MAIN ASSESSMENT TASKS

Students perform, create and review a range of popular music styles

MacBook

Students who already have competent musicianship skills may be requested to purchase a theory of music text book.

This should be discussed with the music teacher at the start of the semester.
